This kid is an undrafted rookie given a 10 day contract first with the Brooklyn Nets, then with the Dallas Mavericks. This is where he began to show signs of stardom. On January 30th, Ferrell dropped 19 points against the defending champs the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last night he became a scoring machine from behind the arc hitting 9 three pointers , finishing with a total of 32 points. Leading the Mavs to a victory over the Portland Trailblazers. After this game it was reported that  Dallas offered Yogi Ferrell a 2 year contract. The Mavs may have found their new star after Dirk Nowitzki's time is over.

A couple nights ago Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Atlanta Hawks with 33 points to a 4th quarter comeback down 20 points against the Houston Rockets.

Isaiah Thomas is only 5'9, but plays like he is 7 feet tall with the heart of a lion. During the 2016-17 season Thomas has claimed the name "Mr.4th Quarter" due to his extremely clutch performances during...well the 4th quarter. This is not a self proclaimed named . Thomas is actually averaging the most points in the 4th quarter with a 43.0 % usage rate reaching the second highest in the NBA. Early this season in a game against the Miami Heat Isaiah Thomas recorded a career high 52 points, scoring 29 of those points in the 4th quarter. The Celtics are only 2.5 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for 1st place in east. By the end of this season the 5'9 giant may just well  be your 2016-17 MVP.
