I'd have to give Isaiah Thomas the MVP award if the Celtics finish #1 in the east over the Cavs.

With another 40+ point game and the wins for his team continue to stack up. The Boston Celtics are now #2 in the the eastern conference. Isaiah Thomas is only 5'9, but plays like he is 7 feet tall with the heart of a lion. During the 2016-17 season Thomas has claimed the name "Mr.4th Quarter" due to his extremely clutch performances during...well the 4th quarter. This is not a self proclaimed named . Thomas is actually averaging the most points in the 4th quarter with a 43.0 % usage rate reaching the second highest in the NBA. Early this season in a game against the Miami Heat Isaiah Thomas recorded a career high 52 points, scoring 29 of those points in the 4th quarter. The Celtics are only 2.5 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for 1st place in east. By the end of this season the 5'9 giant may just well  be your 2016-17 MVP.
